On January 29, 2017, I gave a presentation on Instagram photography and creating graphics for social media at the Social Media Insiders workshop at Figs and Pigs in Worcester.
This is part of the set of photos I took at the Dirty Gerund Poetry show at Ralph’s Diner. I wrote a post about the show on Worcester Turtle Boy. The full set is posted on Flickr in black/white and in color.
Cascading Waters in Worcester, MA is one of my favorite places for a quick walk and some photography. It’s beautiful all year. This is a set I shot December 26, 2016.
This is another experiment with macro photography. This set is dahlia bulbs and a dried dahlia bud. I put them on a small light table and used a mini-flashlight to light from above.
This is a series of macro shots of a huge dragonfly that my husband found laying in our driveway (it was dead when he found it). I put it on a small light table and used additional lighting from above. The color in the photos is petals and leaves from one of my lavender plants.
